Weidmüller Wire-End Ferrules

Weidmüller wire-end ferrules are designed for reliable crimp termination of flexible electrical conductors. They provide a prepared conductor end for use in control panels, machinery, electrical installations and other industrial wiring applications.

The portfolio includes insulated ferrules, non-insulated ferrules, twin wire-end ferrules and specialist variants for different conductor and termination requirements. According to the manufacturer portfolio, the overall range includes more than 450 variants.

Ferrule selection should be matched to conductor cross-section, conductor arrangement and connection requirement. Twin ferrules provide options where two conductors need to be terminated within the appropriate ferrule configuration, while insulated and non-insulated designs support different installation requirements.

Representative product ranges follow DIN 46228 Part 1 or Part 4 depending on the ferrule type. Termination is performed by crimp connection using a suitable matched crimping tool.
