ALLUMINIUM EXPLOSION PROOF
TECHNOR Aluminium Explosion-Proof Enclosures for housing electrical or control equipment in hazardous-area installa...
WAROM explosion-proof enclosures for hazardous industrial environments, including flameproof and increased-safety enclosure solutions for gas and dust applications.
WAROM explosion-proof enclosures provide protected housing for electrical, instrumentation and control components installed in hazardous industrial environments. The product range includes enclosure solutions based on flameproof and increased-safety protection concepts, depending on the selected family and application.
Available construction materials include copper-free aluminium alloy, stainless steel, carbon steel and GRP. This allows enclosure selection to consider the installation environment, mechanical requirements and project specification in addition to the required explosion-protection concept.
Representative WAROM enclosure families include BXT-□-W, BXT-□-C, BX-e and BXT8050. Different series provide different enclosure sizes, construction options, cable-entry arrangements and component-installation possibilities. Selected families are available with ingress protection up to IP66.
For hazardous-area projects, applicable WAROM enclosure series include solutions for Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas environments and Zone 21 and Zone 22 dust environments. Certification is model and market dependent, with selected products available with IECEx, ATEX and other regional approvals. The exact marking, certification, temperature range and enclosure protection must therefore be confirmed against the selected product.
Sea Star International can assist with selection and sourcing based on enclosure dimensions, material, hazardous-area classification, ingress protection, certification, cable-entry requirements and the electrical or control components that will be installed inside the enclosure.
