WAROM explosion-proof air conditioners and engineering cabins for hazardous industrial environments, providing safe climate control and protected operating spaces for control and instrumentation systems.
WAROM explosion-proof air conditioners and engineering cabins are designed for hazardous industrial environments where electrical, instrumentation and control equipment requires protected operating space together with controlled temperature and humidity conditions.
The portfolio includes BKF and BKF(R) explosion-proof wall-mounted air-conditioning systems and PXB Series pressurized engineering cabins. PXB cabins combine a protected enclosure with integrated explosion-proof air conditioning and can incorporate access, detection, alarm and equipment-housing functions according to the required project configuration.
Representative PXB cabins use welded steel construction and are available with carbon-steel or stainless-steel enclosure options depending on specification. The representative PXB range provides protection up to IP66 and supports different electrical-system voltages including 220, 380, 400, 440, 460, 660 and 690 V AC depending on configuration.
Selected WAROM air-conditioning and cabin systems are suitable for hazardous gas and dust environments, including Zone 1 and Zone 2 as well as Zone 21 and Zone 22 applications. Pressurized protection is used on PXB cabin systems, while selected BKF(R) products use certified explosion-protection assemblies. Representative PXB ambient-temperature capability extends from -20°C to +55°C.
Sea Star International can assist with sizing, hazardous-area classification review, cooling requirements, enclosure material, power-system compatibility and certification matching for WAROM air conditioners and engineering cabins.
