Weidmüller Klippon® K Aluminium Ex Enclosures

Weidmüller Klippon® K aluminium enclosures provide robust protection for electrical and electronic components installed in demanding industrial environments. The range is based on aluminium AlSi12 construction and includes standard industrial as well as hazardous-area variants.

Klippon® K enclosures are available in different sizes and surface finishes, including natural aluminium and powder-coated versions depending on the model. Their construction makes them suitable for housing terminals, switches, power supplies, control equipment and electronic components where durable mechanical protection is required.

Selected Klippon® K variants are designed for potentially explosive atmospheres and are available with ATEX and IECEx approvals. Hazardous-area suitability must be confirmed against the exact enclosure variant and certification required for the project.

Depending on configuration, the Klippon® K range provides high ingress protection including IP66, IP67 and selected IP68 arrangements. Enclosure selection therefore needs to consider not only external dimensions but also ingress-protection requirements, internal equipment, cable-entry arrangement and environmental conditions.
