WAROM Explosion-proof Control Equipment

WAROM explosion-proof control equipment provides operator-control, switching and command functions for electrical systems installed in hazardous industrial environments. The range covers control stations, control-unit systems, position switches and configurable operator components used to control and monitor industrial equipment.

Depending on the selected series, a control assembly may incorporate push buttons, indication devices, control switches and other configured components. Manual, automatic and remote-control arrangements are available on applicable product families, allowing the equipment to be matched to the operating philosophy of the installation.

WAROM offers control-equipment series intended for hazardous gas and dust environments. Selected product families cover applications associated with Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas areas as well as Zone 21 and Zone 22 dust areas. Because explosion-protection method, enclosure construction and component combinations differ between models, selection should always be based on the exact hazardous-area classification and project specification.

Applicable WAROM products reference IEC, CENELEC and NEC requirements, while certification may include ATEX, IECEx, EAC or other market-specific approvals depending on the selected model. The required certification and marking should therefore be confirmed during technical review rather than assumed across the complete product family.
